Who we are

The Spanish Saturday School is the newest service at Latin American House. It started in September 2011. The aim is to promote Spanish Language for children between 5 to 10 years old.

Our teachers

All the teachers are native speakers CRB Checked. They are qualified and experienced in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Also our teachers and staff are very friendly and pleasant. They help children learn in a fun and safe environment.

The course offers quality personal attention to the children in smalls groups.

Our approach

Latin American House offers Spanish lessons using different resources to learn in an easy and amusing way.

The children will be encouraged to use the language in a communicative way and also to interact with other students. Communication and didactic task are the main objective of the Spanish lessons. Thus they will understand common expressions and vocabulary.

The principal tools to reinforce the student's skills are: listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Our course

The Spanish lessons take place on the 2nd floor of the Latin American House. Every Saturdays from 10am to 1pm (calendar school term).

The classes include additional activities for instance, songs, movies, computer access, games and cultural events.

FEES:

  • First term: September – December £120
  • Second term: January – March £120
  • Third term: April – June £130
  • Enrolment £20

YOU CAN ENROL IN OUR SPANISH LESSONS ANY TIME!!

 

While one group is doing the formal teaching, the other groups will be with two different support teachers doing “non-formal” activities previously chosen by the children (group work, conversation, games,movies, etc.).
