La Casa Latinoamericana no estaría donde está sin el apoyo y el arduo trabajo de nuestros maravillosos voluntarios. Cualquiera que sea tu área o nivel de experiencia, comunícate con nosotros si crees que puede ofrecer apoyo a la Casa Latinoamericana. Damos la bienvenida a voluntarios de todos los orígenes con habilidades lingüísticas en inglés, español o portugués.
El trabajo en el que los voluntarios pueden esperar involucrarse es tan variado como los servicios que brindamos, y siempre ofrecemos a nuestros voluntarios el apoyo y la capacitación necesarios para hacer una contribución valiosa y sentirse un miembro del equipo. Además, tendrás la oportunidad de conocer gente nueva, mejorar tus habilidades lingüísticas y tener el placer de saber que estás ayudando a otros que lo necesitan.

Call for Volunteers: Communities & Cultures
We are seeking volunteers to join our Communities & Cultures Department at Latin American House.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the incredible satisfaction of knowing you’re contributing to the better integration of Latin American immigrants in London. In addition, you’ll learn valuable new skills, knowledge of event production and strategic programming, make new friendships, and be part of an amazing group of people!

Call for Volunteers: Interpreters
We are currently looking for volunteers to provide Spanish/English and/or Portuguese/English interpretation for our immigration advice service, delivered via Google Meet.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required, or Portuguese and English if applying to be a Portuguese interpreter
- Must be available on Wednesdays 1 PM – 5 PM
- Volunteering is remote via Zoom

Call for Volunteers: Children's Education
We are looking for new volunteers to support our Children’s Education projects: the Menchú Nursery and Spanish Saturday School.
Volunteers should have experience working with children – in the case of the nursery, early years education experience is highly desirable.

Call for Volunteers: Digital Communications
We are currently looking for volunteers to be part of Latin American House’s Digital Transformation project.
We are especially interested in hearing from people with any of the following skills:
– Content creation (graphic, video, and/or written)
– Social media management
– Website management
Fluency in English and either Spanish or Portuguese is desirable. At the very least, you should be able to understand and communicate in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
This is a flexible opportunity: if you have any other ideas on how you could support our digital presence as a volunteer, we would love to hear them!

Call for Trustees
We are currently looking for trustees to be part of Latin American House’s board of management.
As a trustee, you will have the opportunity to support the strategic development of LAH and to make decisions that will improve the lives of Latin Americans in London. We have identified four key areas that we would like to strengthen with trustee experience:
1 – Early Years Education, Children and youth education, Safeguarding, and OFSTED
2 – Legal and social advice
3- Human resources management
4- Management of buildings with a social purpose
Fluency in English and Spanish is required, and Portuguese is also desirable.
