Level 3 Early Years Practitioner - Centro Infantil Menchú
Centro Infantil Menchú (Menchú Nursery) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team. We can offer professional development and a place to grow through your career.
The successful applicant will liaise with bilingual practitioners (English and Spanish), senior leaders and outside professionals, as well as use their own initiative when necessary.

Centro Infantil Menchú is an Early Years Project part of The Latin American House.
Our English-Spanish speaking nursery is rated Good by OFSTED (September 2022) and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum in English. Our Spanish-speaking members of staff introduce Spanish via incidental conversations, instructions, songs, counting and rhymes. We have been established since 1983 with the Nursery situated in Kilburn-North London with convenient transport links. We are within walking distance of the local library and Kilburn Grange Park.

One that fosters a love of learning, awareness of self and others and a sense of accomplishment built on a child’s natural curiosity. All our projects and services are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and our staff are expected to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS).
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week (during Camden term time only)
Shifts: Between 8.30 am- 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Fixed Term
Salary and Benefits:
- £27,352 FTE (Base annual salary of 39 weeks a year of £15,385 )
- Holiday pay of 13% or £2,000 per year.
- Automatic enrolment into the Government Workplace pension Scheme with a 5% employer’s contribution

Operations & Administration Officer
Latin American House (LAH) is an organisation led by and for Latin Americans in the UK. Our work is dedicated to support the needs of the Latin American community in London and beyond, particularly those most disadvantaged or at risk, for example those enduring living and working conditions in low paid jobs, facing barriers to social protection, elderly and without skills or knowledge of social support systems in the UK. The individuals and families using our services benefit from efficient and practical support, learn new skills and improve their own opportunities. We strive to provide essential tools to Latin Americans to empower themselves in their pursuit of personal and social change.
The Operations and Administration Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Latin American House's operations and administrative processes. They are involved in the coordination and implementation of office procedures and have responsibility for specific activities and tasks as needed, following organisational policies, procedures and systems to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and maintain compliance with regulations.
Salary: £24,000 per annum pro rata
Pension: Government Workplace NEST Pension Scheme
Hours per week: Part time - 28 hrs per week equivalent to 4 days per week
Location: On-site at Latin American House (NW6 4TA)
Contract: Fixed term (one year) with possibilities of extension
Reports to: Office Manager

You must have experience in Early Years education and possess a qualification in Childcare and Education. You should also be DBS checked and able to work shifts between 8am-5pm from Monday to Friday.
