Latin American House is hiring a new Director to lead its day-to-day operations and strategy. 

Key Duties include:

  • Supporting the delivery of Latin American House’s projects and services, strengthening their sustainability and developing new projects and services following income generation and fundraising strategies
  • Leading on funding applications to grant-making bodies
  • Supporting and managing a multicultural and motivated team and volunteer group
  • Supporting the Management Committee in representing the organisation to internal and external stakeholders, representative community bodies, legal and governmental agencies

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar or equivalent position with significant managerial experience.
  • Proven experience of successful fundraising
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately, both verbally and in writing, with people at all levels in English and Spanish.

Hours of Work: F/T 35 hrs per week

Starting Salary: £42, 000 (Gross)

Do you want to be part of the nursery team? Join our Staff Bank to be the first to be alerted when we need someone to cover temporary shifts. 

You must have experience in Early Years education and possess a qualification in Childcare and Education. You should also be DBS checked and able to work shifts between 8am-5pm from Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of our work, you also need to be fluent in Spanish and English.
